BIO
Melissa Archer is a Director, Photographer, Videographer, and Editor based in New York City. Melissa has always considered herself an artist, but she first got behind the camera when she was 13 years old. She fell in love with the way a simple square could frame a story and a life and has been pursuing creative endeavors ever since.

Melissa most closely identifies with the title "Multi-Hyphenated" when narrowing down what it is she does. She is a trained actor and dancer, but also has experience directing video, directing theatre, photography, video editing, cinematography, lighting design, and writing. Melissa's greatest skill is having a broad knowledge across the board to allow out of the box thinking that can only come from someone with a wide skill of knowledge.

Melissa is always looking to hop on new projects and collaborate with people on whatever inspires her. Whether it's capturing videography for an event, directing an indie short, or capturing a portrait, Melissa has experience with it all and it always ready to work and collab.
